Take a hike or hop on your bike to explore our picturesque trails. Whether you are looking for a short scenic route to stretch your legs or a long ride to challenge your best time, our trails will meet the needs of all your activity levels and preferences. The three kilometer historic Grand Trunk Trail allows you to catch a glimpse of our town from above.

Wildwood Conservation Area

Wildwood Conservation Area consists of four hiking trails that range from one kilometre to twenty-five kilometre distances that can be enjoyed by both hikers and cyclists.

Avon Trail

The Avon Trail is a 121 kilometre hiking trail from St. Marys to Conestogo that connects the Thames Valley and Grand Valley trails. Please note that motorized vehicles, camping and fires are not permitted on the trail.

Bike Repair Station

If your bike is in need of a little TLC, you can find a bike repair station right in town. Located in the parking lot of Sunset Diner, they offer two bike racks, a tire pump, a repair stand and a variety of tools to help tune up your bike before a big ride!

St. Marys has teamed up with Ontario By Bike to become a part of cycle tourism! Our 3.2 kilometre Grand Trunk Trail and 13 kilometre Loop Trail provide scenic views and great adventure.

Explore St. Marys by bike while stopping in at one of our many vibrant shops and restaurants, or spend the night in one of our cozy accommodations.
